FACEBOOK

During your onboarding, our Social Media Manager will request access to your Facebook page.

First, if you don't have access to your Facebook page, you'll have to claim it. You have to do this as the official business owner, but we can help you with the steps. If you find yourself having to do this, here's a step-by-step guide:

A Page may exist for your business even if someone from your business didn’t create it. For example, when someone checks into a place that doesn't have a Page, an unmanaged Page is created to represent the location.

If the Page is unmanaged, you'll see Unofficial Page below its cover photo. You can request to claim the Page and become its admin. Once the page is claimed you can merge the Page into a Page you already manage for your business. You will also have the ability to grant us admin access.

Keep in mind that Pages that represent geographic locations (ex: New York City, Ontario, Switzerland) can't be claimed.

To claim or merge an unmanaged Page:

Click Is this your business? below the Page's cover photo
    Follow the on-screen instructions
Keep in mind that you may be asked for information to verify your relationship with the business, such as business phone number, business email or documents. Below is a video showing the visuals of this process:

After you've claimed your business, let us know by contacting your sales rep or emailing support@5foldmarketing.com and we can move forward in requesting admin access.

Once we've requested access to your page, you will receive a notification when logged into Facebook that should read "[Team Members Name] of 5 Fold Marketing requested access to your page [name of page].

Here's what this looks like:

Once you select that notification, you will be re-directed to your admin roles panel. Towards the bottom of the screen you will see a "pending agency request." Select the "respond to request" prompt.

You will then be directed to a screen that will ask you to grant or deny 5 Fold access to your Facebook page. You will want to select the, "Give 5 Fold Marketing access to my page."

You will be directed to one last prompt asking you to approve the request. Once you approve, you will need to save your settings by selecting the save button and typing in your password.

GOOGLE+

Watch this video for a step-by-step guide on how to grant us Manager Access to your Google+ account:

Google+ page owners can invite others to manage their page and only owners are allowed to add and remove managers. You'll need to grant 5 Fold Marketing "Manager Access"

Log in to your Google My Business account and select the company page you’d like 5 Fold to manage.

Click the three dash menu icon in the upper-left-hand side of your screen, and, toward the bottom of the sidebar, select the “Managers” option.

Click the add names or email addresses field, enter support@5foldmarketing.com and click Invite. It is important to make sure that you are providing our team with manager access by selecting that option in the dropdown.

Your Social Media Manager will then receive an email that they have been granted manager access to your business’ Google+ page, and they can accept their access.
